The Reality
Families searching for addiction treatment face overwhelming barriers. Bridge House removes every single one.
Most rehab facilities charge $15,000-$50,000+ for treatment. If your loved one is uninsured or underinsured, options disappear fast. Bridge House serves those who cannot afford private treatment.
28-day programs rarely lead to lasting recovery. Without time to rebuild life skills, employment, and stability, relapse rates remain high. Long-term residential care changes that equation.
Grace House is the only substance-use disorder treatment facility exclusively for women in Greater New Orleans. Pregnant women are prioritized for admission. There is literally nowhere else like this.
Our Proven Approach
Our evidence-based, long-term residential model gives residents the time and structure they need to rebuild their lives completely.
The first 14-30 days focus on medical stabilization and intensive clinical services. Residents receive 20+ hours per week of medium-intensity treatment, including individual and group therapy. Staff observe and assess each person's needs without outside interference, creating a safe foundation for recovery.
Lower-intensity clinical services focusing on practical skill application. Residents build relapse prevention strategies, develop emotional regulation tools, and participate in structured individual and group therapy. This is where lasting behavioral change takes root.
The final phase prepares residents for independent living through job seeking, vocational training, and education. Residents don't just get sober — they leave with the employment skills and life stability to stay sober for good.
Chief Executive Officer, Bridge House / Grace House
Kevin knows what it's like to walk through the doors of Bridge House with nothing. Because he did it himself.
In April 2002, Kevin completed the Bridge House program as a resident. He rebuilt his life from the ground up, joined the organization's staff, and has served for over two decades — rising from managing major gifts in 2004 to Executive Director of Development in 2013, and CEO in December 2023.
A graduate of De La Salle High School and LSU, Kevin now leads the same organization that gave him a second chance at life. His journey is living proof that the program works.
Why Bridge House
Our multi-phase program gives residents months — not weeks — to stabilize, heal, and build the skills needed for lasting sobriety. Short stays don't work for most people. Real change takes real time.
We serve the homeless, indigent, uninsured, underinsured, and unemployed. If you can't afford treatment elsewhere, Bridge House is here. Cost should never prevent someone from getting help.
Grace House is the only substance-use disorder treatment facility exclusively for women in the Greater New Orleans area. Pregnant women receive priority admission for safety and care.
Our Re-Entry phase includes job seeking, vocational training, and education. Residents don't just leave sober — they leave with employment prospects and independent living skills.
CARF International accreditation means quality, transparency, and a commitment to the people we serve. Verified by independent review. Not self-reported claims — third-party validated.
We combine Alcoholics Anonymous 12-Step methodology with clinical therapy — group sessions, individual counseling, case management, and family treatment when appropriate.
